Miniature copy in oils of Gwen John's famous painting of 1920.
Like many women artists in the past (less so today!) Gwen John was largely ignored in her lifetime but since 1939 she has been increasingly recognised and is now considered a significant 20th century artist.
This copy was painted using oil paints.
External frame size 7 x 5 cm. Frame made from picture frame moulding from Wood Supplies, specialists in miniature woodwork, www.woodsupplies.com.
This painting is a real collectors item.
Customs charges etc
The buyer is responsible for paying any additional costs such as duties, taxes and clearance fees.
Most of my overeseas sales are the US and Canada. As far as I'm currently aware, HS code 97 applies to works of art imported from the UK into the USA. This says you can import most fine art into the USA without paying customs duties. Many of my customers are in the USA and so far, I've not had any problems with customs but if in doubt please check. Other countries may have similar codes, but again, please check as the buyer will be responsible for these charges.

Refunds and returns accepted as long as item arrives (in the same condition it was sent!) within 14 days.
